4. Video Processing and Storage

4.1 Uploaded Videos

When you upload a screen recording:

• The video is securely stored in our cloud storage during processing
• We extract keyframes, analyze UI elements, and generate workflow documentation
• The original video file is automatically deleted after successful processing
• Extracted screenshots and keyframes are retained as part of the skill documentation

4.2 URL-Sourced Videos

When you submit a video URL (YouTube, Loom, Vimeo, etc.):

• We download the video temporarily to a secure processing environment
• The video is processed identically to uploaded files
• The downloaded video is automatically deleted immediately after processing completes
• We do NOT permanently store videos sourced from external URLs
• Only the extracted skill data (workflow steps, screenshots, documentation) is retained
• Metadata (video title, platform, duration) may be stored for reference

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

• Service Providers: Third-party vendors who help us operate the Service (cloud hosting, analytics, support)
• Legal Requirements: When required by law, court order, or government request

• With Your Consent: When you explicitly authorize us to share information

Published Skills: If you choose to publish a skill to the SkillForge community library, the skill content (workflow steps, screenshots) becomes publicly visible, but your account information remains private.
